Our approach
Our digital product development process provides direction and sharpens decisions. It delivers concrete and directly applicable outcomes.

Design Thinking
At Bonjourney, we work step by step towards a strong digital product. From strategy to design, delivery and optimisation. Our approach is based on Design Thinking, adapted to the reality of startups and scale-ups: fast, flexible and feasible. No bulky reports, just momentum. That’s why our way of working is practical and adaptable.
We have extensive experience building and evolving multiple products within the same ecosystem, but we’re just as comfortable working on a single standalone product.
Design Thinking consists of six phases. Which phases we go through and where the emphasis lies is something we decide together based on where you are today, what’s already clear and where more focus is needed.

Empathize
We start by listening. To your ambitions, your people and your customers. We want to understand what’s happening, where friction occurs and what’s needed to achieve your goals.
Examples of outcomes:
Define
We clarify what truly matters. We distil the main challenges and opportunities down to their core and define focus. This sets goals, priorities and constraints.
Examples of outcomes:
Ideate
Based on insights, we explore different directions. Ideas are developed into solutions that are logical and feasible.
Examples of outcomes:
Prototype
We make ideas tangible through prototypes, clickable demos or early versions. This allows us to quickly see what works and what doesn’t.
Examples of outcomes:
Test
We test designs with customers and/or internal teams and validate our hypothesis. Feedback is used to sharpen decisions and improve designs.
Examples of outcomes:
Implement
We support delivery and align closely with the development team. From collaboration to further development, with your own team or our Bonjourneys.
